How American Expat Tyler Monks found his bliss in the Island of Gods, Bali Indonesia.
Escaping the Grind
Like many working professional in the northern part of the United States, Tyler would spend many winter months waking up before the sun, commuting to an office in 10 degree weather. Working a 9-6 shift then returning home after dark. In the USA we call this the Grind.
Discovering Bali Indonesia
On the weekends he would find myself locked inside dreading the cold gray winter. Youtube was his salvation as he would watch travel videos of young active travelers backpacking through South East Asia. Amidst the hustle and bustle of modern life, Tyler Monks, an American Expat, has discovered the true essence of peace and purpose on the picturesque shores of Bali, Indonesia.
Finding Purpose in Simplicity
His journey from corporate burnout to crafting bead bracelets embodies a narrative of finding zen-like minimalism and fulfillment in the Island of Gods. In the relentless pursuit of success and societal expectations, Tyler Monks found himself trapped in the throes of corporate burnout. Yet, amidst the chaos, he harbored a deep-seated yearning for a life of meaning and purpose.
Beauty of Bali and the Laid-Back Lifestyle
Driven by this longing, Tyler set out on a transformative journey that led him to the idyllic shores of Bali. Upon arriving in Bali, he was immediately drawn to the island's tranquil beauty and laid-back lifestyle. Surrounded by pristine beaches and lush tropical landscapes, he felt a sense of serenity wash over him, as if the very essence of the island whispered secrets of inner peace and fulfillment.
Bohemian Beach Life in Bali
Drawing inspiration from Bali's bohemian spirit and vibrant surf culture, he began crafting boho beach surf bracelets, infused with the essence of sun, sea, and sand. Each bracelet embodies the carefree energy of Bali's beaches, serving as a wearable reminder of the island's laid-back lifestyle.
